(Dreamin’ of sunny days)
I sure would like to see it all today
I suppose it’s not too late
Couped up for far too long today
And I could always use a break
Well don’t you think we need a break?
Let’s go back to the sunshine
The things we need
Back to the bright old days
And something for the trees
Just like the moonlight
I like a warm breeze
Dreamin’ of sunny days
I hope they dream of me… let’s go…
I hope they dream of me
I sure would like to see the world some day
I suppose I could see how
I’m gonna try and try it all some day
Somewhere else some time somehow
And tell you all let’s do it now
Let’s go back to the sunshine
The things we need
Back to the bright old days
And something for the trees
Just like the moonlight
I like a warm breeze
Dreamin’ of sunny days
I hope they dream of me… yeah
Well, I hope they dream of me
(Dreamin’… Dreamin’ of sunny days)
Oh let’s go back to the sunshine
The things we need
Back to the bright old days
And something for the trees
Just like the moonlight
I like a warm breeze
I’m dreamin’ of sunny days
I hope they dream of me
Let’s go back to the sunshine
Take me back to the sunshine
Let’s go back to the sunshine
Take me back to the sunshine

Whoa
When you’re feeling low
You got no place to go
Close your eyes
Now we’re bathing in the morning light
Covered up in the ocean sunrise
So come on, let’s get away
You’re invited to my happy place
Hand me your hand
Let’s see the sea
Wave to the waves
Breathe in the breeze
Taste the salt of our skin
The salt in the wind
Follow me into my day dream
Follow me to my day dream
Hand me your hand
Let’s see the sea
Hear the soundwaves of waves
Breathe in the breeze
Light makes us feel light
It’s gonna be alright
Follow me into my day dream
Oooooh
When you’re feeling blue
You don’t know what to do
Close your eyes
Now there’s a million colors painted in the sky
Cotton candy clouds in the setting sunlight
Glitter on the water sparkles and glows
Like starts shining bright from below
Hand me your hand
Let’s see the sea
Wave to the waves
Breathe in the breeze
Is it the salt of our skin -
Salt in the wind?
Follow me into my daydream!
Hand me your hand
Let’s see the sea
Hear the soundwaves of waves
Breathe in the breeze
Light makes us feel light
It’ll be alright
Follow me into my day dream
Day dream
Oooooh
Got no place to go
Follow me
Let’s see the sea
Close your eyes

Sometimes you don't know what you own
Until you pack it all up
Sometimes you can't tell how you've grown
Til this place ain't big enough
Well these days, baby
Decisions can be tough
But I'm floating free
Yes I'm floating free
Sometimes you don't know what you’re worth
Until you shop it around
Sometimes you get what you deserve
By standing your ground
Well these days, baby
I'm never feeling down
‘Cause I'm floating free
I'm floating free
Well these days, baby
I'm wishing you the rest
I'm floating free
Sometimes you just can't see the sun
Until you walk out the door
Sometimes the perfect time to run
Is when you're up on the floor
Well these days, baby
I couldn't ask for more
‘Cause I'm floating free
Yes I'm floating free
I said, these days, baby
I'm wishing you the rest
Because these days, baby
I'm wishing me the best
‘Cause I'm floating free
Yes I'm floating free

I hear the waves crash on the beach.
Butterflies land on flowers next to me.
You warm my heart, while the sunlight warms my skin.
I can’t get enough of this day we’re living in
perfect harmony with nature as we sit and capture time
with our minds so it doesn’t have a chance to slip away.
I remember sunshine sparkling through the leaves.
I remember sunshine melodies (baby) floating on the breeze.
You got reggae playing on the radio
When it hits you, you feel alright again.
(Just me and my friend.)
My eyes close as I drift away
Mind escapes and my body floats on air
I hear you sigh just to let me know you’re there.
I can’t get enough of this day we’re living in
perfect harmony with nature as we sit and capture time
with our minds so it doesn’t have a chance to slip away.
I remember sunshine lighting up your face
And I remember sunshine melodies (baby) drifting o’er the airwaves
You got Marley playing on the stereo
When it hits you, you feel alright again.
Take me back to the days when the sun was on my face
Using music as our map to get us right back to the place
Drifting on the sunshine, riding on the wave
To catch the sweetest melodies that the DJ ever played
Well I noticed the time keeps going, so recreate those special moments
Let the beats just keep on flowing and show your love to everyone!
Hear The Melodies with a friend to share the magic of music once again…
The Sunshine Melodies, baby.

True to our goal at the band’s inception, our first album highlights shared collaborative efforts drawing from musical ideas & perspectives of different artists within our community. We discover about ourselves and each other through the creative process. Four singers independently wrote songs over the “Sunshine Melody" riddim without hearing each other's versions. The classic old-school sound and musical vibe seemed to elicit similar lyrics and topical context, which spawned a dub weaving all four vocalists together. We're pumped to share these songs with our audience, and look forward to hearing your feedback! And you know what? Reach out to us if YOU would like to create a version!
ALSO, don't forget to check out the SECRET BONUS TRACK that we can't tell you about because it's a SUPER SECRET Bandcamp exclusive that's only available when you purchase the album, which also unlocks your copy of the "back cover."
We’d like to extend heartfelt gratitude to all collaborators and inspirations behind this project, and the bands/brands they represent (go look up the musicians' resumés), family/friends who have shared rehearsal & recording space, the promoters and venues that give us an outlet to showcase our sounds, and those who have been there to guide and inspire us! Deep appreciation to Jamaican culture & the musicians who established the art. Additional thanks to past, present, & future audiences that take the time to listen, watch, and/or support us in any way! Keep your ears open!
We look forward to bringing you more music, and hope to see you at a live performance in a venues, at an event, or even at your private parties!
